He passed away at 79 yesterday. Sad day for anyone who loved game shows. I may be young, but I watched old episodes of Match Game and Family Feud as a child.

Never cared for him as a host, but loved him in Hogan' Heroes.

    :salute: Newkirk!

    Sad to hear this.

Just watched The Running Man a few weeks ago and wondered why he didn't get more film roles. But he'll certainly be memorable for Hogan's Heroes and Family Feud (I remember my grandmother called him "that ol' kissin' man").

    RIP.

While CNR was cooler, Richard Dawson was way closer than half.

My favorite thing about Richard Dawson on Match Game, other than the drinking and general lewdness, was that he always put a period at the end of every answer. And that pretty much every answer was "boobs."

Richard Dawson was an awesome and talented man. Loved him on Hogan's Heroes, loved him on Match Game, and as the host of Family Feud. May he rest in peace.

    Godspeed, Mr. Dawson. :(
