Over a flaming tongue of hell's delight, amidst the wails and wants of a sordid debauchery, and the writhing wickedness of sin, signed upon a parchment, spattered with the blood of your fathers. Hanged upon the merchant's neck, a woeing tale of haunt, gaunted cheeks devoid of laughter, in truth, a fearsome chatter, and brains spread out like paste upon water, the burning flesh asunder, smoking hallowed true like lies, peppered throughout the garden, affix your soul and pledge it true, for we shall be your warden. Just on a hunch, if he hasn't asked to come back yet, FB has given him the spotlight he craves, he's getting lots of pixels in this thread, and Castle won't be back, at least not as Castle.
I thought flaming in the Help Desk was prohibited by board rules? Or does management make exceptions for arrogant, dentally-challenged poncy British cunts?
We give a bit of license to playful jousting. That's pretty much all this thread is, at this point. But don't get the idea that the license is unlimited.
If you're going to deny the request, just write a summary opinion and lock the thread. Otherwise the Help Desk is pointlessly encouraging everyone to assume they can actually change something.
Whether we deny the request is entirely up to Castle. He knows what he needs to do, based upon our e-mailed communications. That he refuses, preferring instead to bluster about it on another forum doesn't mean he can't be unbanned, just that he isn't actually interested. So I don't see us locking the door. It's always going to be there, it's up to him to walk through if he'd like to do so. You're right, however, this thread is not of much use, because it is not a vehicle for determining whether he can comply with behavioral standards. Not going to close it just yet, just because doing that will no doubt generate a thread about locked helpdesk threads.
Only Bear can and he's stated that certain people wouldn't be allowed in, think you might be on that list but not sure.
Um. I really don't care and it's nothing to get worked up about, and especially fuck facebook anyway, but still, starting a group in the name of some other organisation and then playing favorites with membership is a shitty move.
In all seriousness, you could start your own NotWordforge FB group and invite all of us ne'er-do-wells leave it open.
I'm about to toss my Facebook account overboard. They now expect me to use two apps on my phone for Facebook. I only use Facebook as it is because my wife and family use it. I'm not letting Facebook apps take over my phone.
