    Trailer.

Heard nothing about this except its mere existence last year, then this just suddenly dropped.

I've been wanting to see something like this ever since I first watched Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust.

I'll definitely be watching this. Supposedly it is based on the storyline from Castlevania III so I'm guessing it will feature characters like Trevor Belmont, Alucard, the witch Sypha Belnades, and the pirate Grant Danasty.

It would also be interesting to see them adapt or incorporate storylines from some of the other games like Rondo Of Blood/Symphony Of Night.

Those CASTLEVANIA games are real fun. Like @Federal Farmer I'm not too big a fan of Anime, but I too will probably check it out!

Anime is very misunderstood. People tend to just associate it with hentai/tentacle rape, Sailor Moon, or Dragonball Z.

It's so much more than that.

Check out Ghost In the Shell (the original movie), Macross, Princess Mononoke, Ninja Scroll, Akira, or the above mentioned vampire Hunter D.

There is lots of great sci-fi/fantasy anime out there and lots of it is for adults... without being gratuitous or bizarre rape stuff.

But I don't know if this new series would be considered anime. As far as I am aware it is written and produced by Americans. It may be animated in Japan/South Korea and of course it is based on a Japanese property (which is itself based on Bram Stoker).

    What Zor Prime said.

I can't for the life of me figure out why people who like adult animation when it's South Park, Family Guy, Heavy Metal, or Sausage Party, suddenly balk at anime, when it could instantly explode the number of titles you suddenly have available.
