Much better to say "He's a collie" or "he's a sheep dog"
Hell, even "dog" is a sort of label.

Pretty much every demographic category by which you might analyze a population represents a label. "Evangelical", "Jew", "Muslim", "Irish", "Hispanic", "Elderly", "married", "single" - the list goes on forever.

If it is legitimate to use "heterosexual" or even "straight" then it's legitimate to use "cisgender" - at least in the academic sense.

Please do not lump me in with your ignorance. I was born a white male, and because being trans means I can easily play with all the other white boys and infiltrate their little cabal while still being a part of a minority that most certainly is at a disadvantage. Just because one is at a disadvantage to the WASP power structure of the US by no means says they cannot possibly achieve great things, it does mean it is far more rare, and many people who try will not be permitted to achieve because of some rather stupid reasons like skin color, religion, gender, or whatever other reason.

It is great that you got ahead, but it is pretty crass that you got yours now you wish to ignore the reality for other people like you who are trying as hard and harder but were not able to find the hole you did. No, recognition of the reality prejudice still exists is not a pity party for brown people. You see without recognizing it is there nothing will change because the people who do it do not give a fuck about fairness. The reality is if you want the best of the best you need to bring everyone up to speed in the best way possible. This means not underfunding schools in poverty ridden districts because you know blacks and hispanics are large parts of those areas. You do not toss resumes simply because they have non-white names on them. You do not pay women less for the same job. You do not drive your employees nuts with questions of which bathroom to use when you have real work to do. As a matter of fact when the little white trash fuddy duddy comes up and complains about the person in the bathroom with them you fire that asshole for avoiding work with stupid shit, or at least because if you know for sure someone has a vagina or a dick from just being in the bathroom in them you are the peeping pervert.

So, where we are glad you have a single experience that was good, it is anecdotal and worthless for us to pretend this is how it works for everyone there cosby fanboy. There is white privilege no matter how much it annoys you. I know there is because I enjoyed it.
