Just watched a nifty little biopic on famed mid-twentieth century space artist Chesley Bonestell. It's available streaming on Amazon. If you're in to stuff like this at all, it's a fascinating look at Bonestell's life, work, and influence on the public imagination and the space program. Chesley Bonestell: A Brush With the Future. This is one of his more famous paintings: Bonestell worked almost exclusively in oils, and had great command of the medium.
