    Zombieware? :soma:

This sure would make training animals a lot easier. With a camera mounted on a collar you could walk the dog and never get out of your chair.

I've been contemplating putting tiny cameras on my outside cats to see what their life consists of. Feline documentury kinda thing.
    ...but I digress.

    Interesting stuff. Thanks!

R/C birds is old hat.. a direct wire-in to the brain is news though.

A while back on the India/Pakistan border one of the sides was spying on the other using an eagle. It carried a small wireless camera, and on its back, a small RC reciever and some servos. It was trained to respond to the tugs of the servos on various parts of it, in the same way a horse responds to its rider.

The other side eventually got suspicious of this eagle which was flying in a very rigorous, precise way over their installations and lines - like something with a human being at the controls of it rather than the random behavior of an animal - which of course was exactly the case.

They eventually managed to trap it, thus discovering the truth of the matter.
