    stress fractures, anyone know anything about them?

    I know about a bazillion soldiers get them from running many miles on pavement. Never had one, but they take forever to heal from what I see.

    I probably need a little bit more background. I had an acute (I guess) stress fracture--femur, the hardest bone to break--like, a decade ago.

    Wow, usually tibia/fibia for stress fractures. How did you manage that?
