    Does it kill anyone's appetite?

Does me...I mean of those of you who like it and drink coffee, that is.

I used to use it as Breakfast food Replacement.
So, I guess you could say it killed my appetite.

I think appetite suppression is one of caffeine's virtues/vices.

And aside from being a stimulant, it's also a vascular constrictor. Makes your blood vessels contract.

Most diet pills are just caffeine tablets, if I'm not mistaken. It also makes you piss out all your water, which helps with the illusion of weight loss as well.

    Yes...one of the leading diuretics.

I've never tought of it as such...I just like the taste...at my age, it's probably not a good thing to drink so much of it, however...but I do love it so.

Fuckit. Keel over happy with a navy-chief size gallon jug of coffee in your mitt. I plan on eating and drinking pretty much what I want until my heart bursts out of my chest like a baby alien.

I don't know if you're familiar with a chain of stores named Speedway, but I have their 64oz. coffee "cup."

Yup. They had speedways in GA. And I think most gas-store chains have the 64 ouncer. I had a suspicion you'd know exactly what I was talking about. :shades:

That's about it...and Speedway coffee is good stuff...and I can fill that "cup" for around $1.70...try getting 64oz out of Starbucks for that.

And every 5th one is a freebie. :D

I personally like coffee - a lot. Used to have a cup everyday to wake me up. Then I stopped because I was wondering whether I developed an addiction to it.

I might start again, now that you mentioned it and I did enjoy it.

    Black.

There was a short time in the Navy I used a creamer...till they downgraded the type of creamer to white powdered fuck-who-knows and I switched back.

In a cold winter, I'll sometimes put a tablespoon or so of Hersey's syrup in a cup...I don't, of course, use that huge coffee reservoir at home. :D

Just to inject some facts into the matter (this being the iron room and all):

Coffee is not a significant diuretic
    Coffee is packed with anti-oxidants
Coffee is probably a diabetes inhibitor (more research needed)
Coffee stimulates brain function (get smarter!

    Fun coffee facts

So, drink your coffee, drink lots of it, and enjoy. Just don't pussify it with lots of cream and sugar, because then it is fattening and flavored for girly teenagers.

I like my coffee strong and either black, or with just a little bit of creamer in it (suger in coffee? yeck imho)... and speaking of speedway, Super America (same company) has really good dark roast. *drools*

Edit: I suppose i should answer the actual question. If I drink coffee it will take the edge off for a little bit, but i'll just be even more hungry later.

I start nearly every work day with a 24oz cup of coffee from the Valero convenience store down the street from my house. I usually don't have anything to eat with it.

Coffee doesn't kill my appetite, though. If I do have breakfast somewhere, I'll have several cups of coffee with it (no matter what it is--pancakes, eggs, breakfast tacos...)

And I've always taken my coffee black with some sugar in it.

"I like my coffee like I like my women: black and sweet!"

If it wasn't for the countless billions of cans sold one could think I'm the only person who likes the taste of Red Bull

    The imitations are vile tho.
