The problem with venezuela is a bit more than they are socialist. That is like saying the problems of america when it first started (slavery, sexism, and imperialistic genocide of natives) were a problem with capitalism. We can recognize that socialism and capitalism can be used by society to harm people, and that it is the motivations and morals of society that need to be addressed and made ethical.

So what? The United States' leader loves North Korea. Clearly being a socialist shithole and a soul-crushing tyranny aren't all that important.

There is a difference between firing someone for voting for a democrat or a republican and for making blatant pro violent dictator propaganda. They are doing this wacky shit in their off time, what are they doing in the classroom? It's genuinely concerning.

Someone is entitled to their political beliefs, they are entitled to express them.

You don't get to decide what is or isn't a legitimate belief and nor should an education authority. It's censorship of the very kind that supporters of the US constitution are so willing to object to when it's convenient to do so.

And if these teachers were expressing a political view you disagreed with, in the classroom, which is the context of my above post, you'd be calling for their heads. Lets take a look at the following statement, really take your time to take it in. Run the scenario through your head, and how it would effect you.
