    Four hostages taken at a synagogue near Dallas this afternoon. One released, three still being held.

    Suspect is apparently motivated by wanting to secure the release from prison of Aafia Siddiqui, an antisemitic nutwhack who tried to kill U.S. military personnel in Afghanistan and thinks Israel did 9/11, but ironically got her doctorate from Brandeis.

    Apparently the hostage-taker got in by pretending to be a homeless man in need of shelter.

    Which is how we can tell it was a synagogue and not a white evangelical Christian church.
