The crackdown on the insurgents, Shiite, Sunni as well as Al Qaeda terrorists has been in operation for the last few days now. I'm hoping this menas the end of the infighting when these people are dead or gathered. It also will mean a victory for President Bush, but watch how the left will spin it as a defeat.

    Anyway, the article:

BAGHDAD (AP) - U.S. and Iraqi forces launched attacks on the capital's northern and southern flanks to clear out Sunni insurgents, al-Qaida fighters and Shiite militiamen who were chased from the capital and Anbar province during the first four months of the Baghdad security operation, military officials said Monday.

I doubt it will be the end, but, hopefully, it will do some good.

We should just launch nuclear bombs at anyone fighting us there. Anyone who does is an Al-Qaeda terrorist, and since so many are fighting us, we got them right where we want them.

Indeed. We're bringing them freedom, that doesn't mean they're free to reject it. :borg:

As much as I hope it were true, I'm afraid all it takes is a car packed to the fill with TNT and point it in the right direction to get those idiots started again.

It is amazing just how much damage can be done to our efforts by just a few malcontents trying to build up their own power.

It's probably the most fundamental physical law of the universe: Order is difficult. Disorder is easy.
