What it says in the title...
When I first joined my gym, you couldn't get in the car park on a Sunday morning. Didn't matter to me, as I only live a five minute walk away, but I've noticed over the last couple of months that the car park is virtually empty on a Sunday...
At the same time, at our recent renewal, our subscriptions were supposed to go up. OH managed to negotiate an £8 a month discount for each of us...
    Hm... :chris:

    Any more anecdotal evidence?

If the gym is still full, isn't that more about the cost of gas than anything else?

The big thing I've noticed is definitely more connected to gas prices. I started biking to work again this summer after a two year hiatus (scheduling difficulties that have now cleared). I'm seeing a lot more bike commuters, probably 3 or 4 times what I saw a couple years back. On the one hand, I should be thrilled, but on the other hand, they are reckless, inexperienced, slow pokes who enjoy getting in my way.

I'm seeing plenty of evidence. My last credit card payment got processed a day after I posted it, leading to me getting hit with a late fee and finance charge. I called my CC company to tell them what happened, and they got rid of both charges right away. They know I always pay my bills on time, and right now, customers like that are gold to credit card companies.
