Creed (2015)

Just sitting back and watching Creed on this uneventful Saturday afternoon... it occurs to me that this may very well be a perfect movie. Truly inspired. The motivations behind Adonis Creed and Rocky Balboa, their relationship... it's just perfect. Sylvester Stallone gave the performance of his life... a well deserved Oscar, IMHO. I think it's a travesty this film didn't get more representation at the Academy Awards of 2015.

I know I must've missed the conversation around this movie when it was in theaters, but I'm curious as to what the rest of Wordforge thought about this one.

never saw it. I don't know anyone who saw it, sorry.

I've got a copy on UHD; thought it was very good. And that boxing match in the middle of the film is incredibly filmed.

that's how it goes! A lot of great movies aren't always big hits. I might check it out.

Glad this wasn't about the band.
