I'm locking this dual down if it hasn't already. NotDayton's a stretch as it is, but we don't need two Dayton parody duals in here.
Moving this to the Shelter for the moment -- @Bickendan: your intention for this discussion was the Shelter, correct?
Okay, so now I have some time. Regarding who, it was indeed Ed. What is the concern about the e-mail address? As for any actions beyond killing the dual, I'd support transferring the warning I gave to the fake Dayton over to Ed.
I think this is an excellent idea and would hopefully get the idea across that you are not going to get away with making a dual to break rules and get punished while you can just happily log back in to your main account like nothing happened. NotDayton was allowed because the person behind it never does such things, he goes out of his way to continue to follow WF rules while doing the parody and he's smart enough to use it sparingly and not boring everyone to tears with it.
Is that Dayton's actual email? If not, Ed, or anybody else could easily enough acquire such an address.
No, if Ed used it for the parody account, it's not likely Dayton's. My point is, it's very tasteless, and should Dayton want/need to get a gmail address, he's kinda screwed.
How is Dayton screwed? Dayton.Kitchens or Daytonwhateverkitchens or daytonwkitchens or Dayton.w.kitchens are presumably all available. At least he has two relatively uncommon names. I had to go all the way to Matthew.james.johnson to find something available.
If Ed decides to go around doing shenanigans around the internet and people try to figure out who's behind it by looking at the e-mail address his rather unusual name will lead them to Dayton. He could get wrongfully blamed. That's the only thing I can think of offhand. I guess it depends on just how big a dick Ed wants to be.
He can probably be a pretty big dick, although generally he's all bark and no bite. I just don't see how it's any business of ours, what e-mail addresses a member registers, so long as they don't include wordforge.net as part of the address.
Unlike you, and which has been revealed in shelter releases I don't pass out or hunt down personal info to give out to others. As for class, your opinion of me amounts to the opinion of a random 17 year old in the biggest shithole in the most backwards country. You on the other hand, have been proven to have no class. And as for your previous claim that I have personal info all over the net, that is an outright lie that you used to try to cover you usual shenanigans, or the "I don't remember" clause. I google myself every so often, and the info you find amounts to a few old addresses and my high school alumni page. Nothing much beyond that. However I do believe the standard on duals was if they are amusing, let them stand. I posted once in the welcome room, and then kept the rest in the RR. So concerning duals, I followed the same actions that NotDayton has. So if the dual I created broke rules, then so does the NotDayton and the other duals that have been created. Considering I made 4-5 posts with it, how does that equate to boring anyone with it? And which rules, aside the possibility of the welcome thread did I break? Sorry Gul.... I don't care for the "be a pretty big dick" it doesn't fit me, I prefer asshole. Do I still get creativity points for the daytoŋ3?
With his partial email address? I thought about it, but @Santacalagon has always been pretty open with his info and, like I said, it's only a partial address. I can delete it, though, if Anc wants (or he can do it himself).
