So there is this show called Is it Cake on Netflix. The whole thing is these bakers make cakes that look like other things, and judges have to try and spot the cake among the real items from a distance. So all of a sudden everything can be cake. Also, other foods become cake. There were tacos that were cake in the first episode. OMG the cake flavors sound amazing. So not only are these people making cake look realistically like hats and handbags and stuff like that, they sound like they are worth being the sugary death of diabetic pain they are. Then I have the awful guilt of being in a first world country where I happen to have some affluence and I am watching food waste porn while people are dying of hunger and we are not going to feed them. OTOH it is not the kardashians. It is just wasteful cake. Anyway, I did not know you could do all of that with cake, but if you have some time to kill it seems to be harmless fun.
Realistic cakes are therapy for me. When gross things get stuck in my eyes or brain, I just imagine the gross things being chopped up into cake, and I immediately feel better.
