Introduce yourself is just for that and not shenanigans.

They get away with all kinds of crap all over the board, it's not too much to ask to keep two forums free from bullshit.

Eh, I dunno. I am torn on this one. On one hand, it's good to have that section as a nice forum, but on the other hand, garamet warns new user how petty and small she really is. So there's a net benefit there. I'm always on the side of less censorship when it comes to WF so I favor not disappearing threads but maybe moving them to the Red Room if they get out of hand.

Your concern is understood, as is the desire to have a welcoming introduction forum but this is not the way to go about achieving said goal. We shouldn't dump threads that don't fit forum criteria.

Or should this thread be the next to disappear?

The big thing for me is the moving of the thread to a forum that can no longer be viewed by the general population. I don't like it when I can no longer see what I wrote. There was a Blue Room thread I had replied in that got "disappeared" when the OP no longer wanted them around. There is considering the OP's request, but then what about the people who wrote useful posts that may still want them around? Lock the thread, archive it, or move it to Red Room, but at least have it where people can view it if they want.

As an admin, having a thread disappear is no longer a concern because I can always view it in the bin, but not everyone has my special access privileges. Because....I am special needs. :soholy:

The two disappeared threads should be released along with this thread.

    Anybody disagree?
