I never said your family was jumping for the Republicans. I'm thrilled actually they are seriously looking at the Libertarians.

The Democrats are against Canadian oil sands, which Obama and Hillary deride as "dirty", probably because unlike the Saudis the Canadians haven't given her tens of millions of dollars.

As an aside, the LA Times tracking poll shows that Trumps is widening his lead during the DNC convention. Hillary has been continually dropping all week, while he keeps going up.

It's amazing at all the protests outside the DNC and within it but for the most part the mainstream media is not really covering it.

That's why the mainstream media has lower trust polling than Bill Cosby - who like Bill Clinton is a serial rapist.

I read somewhere (here?) that the DNC was going to be run on rails, like a precision Swiss watch--unlike the haphazard GOP convention. You know what else runs on rails? A train wreck.

But you won't hear anything about it because the people who said it are liberals and a liberal would rather tell you the earth is flat, the sky is orange, and the moon is made out of green cheese than have to admit that they were wrong and/or you were right.
