Yeah, I'm looking forward to this one. Didn't finish Oblivion because even with mods the combat absolutely reeked. Skyrim shows promise; it's also the first 'viking themed' game of its type I remember in recent memory, the last being Rune almost a decade ago. I plan on rolling me up a big Nord Viking Warrior with a Big Axe and a Big Sword and a Big Viking Roundshield. Horned helmets are optional.
Anyone got this yet? I've read that you can ONLY be a fricking human character in this game! How boring.
I'm still busy with DAO and the add-on. Because single player fantasy rpgs have become so rare, I will give DAII a chance, but I heard it's quite a dissappointment for oldschool rpg fans. The only hope for us - the dying breed of fantasy fans who like complex rpgs and detest all the stuff from Japan - seems to be "Skyrim".
