He is the frontman of press freedom and freedom of expression. I may or may not agree with what he has to say in his movie (which is not even released yet), but I respect his determination to publish it.

The first time I read the thread title, I thought "What the fuck problem do the duch have with Koreans?"

Then I read it again and it made more sense.

What does that have to do with free speech?

    He isn't censored...
He can say what he wants...
But it might get Dutch people hurt or killed who are vacationing/visiting relatives in the middle-east...
Or how about the Dutch soldiers in Afghanistan...

We have 3 public networks with a host of broadcasting companies, the only one willing to show the movie is the muslim broadcasting company, under 2 conditions:
    1. They want to see the movie beforehand to judge it's possible impact.
    2. Mister Wilders has to be part of a disscusion that will be held after the broadcast of the movie.
    He said no...

You do realize the second half of your post nullifies the first?

He can say what he wants, but it might piss someone off and they'll hurt "bystanders".
Doesn't that kinda imply that he's right??????

He's not being stopped from saying anything, his ISP is simply refusing him a specific venue to spread his message.

If this really about freedom, then it's not just about freedom of speech. It's also about businesses having the freedom to refuse service for whatever reason they choose, which is what's happening here.

    Freedom wins twice!

    Correct...
Our PM said he couldn't forbid Mr Wilders from showing the movie without knowing what the movie is about, in other words censor him...
But the broadcast companies are free to say "No, we dont want to become the target of attacks like the Danish newspaper, so we won't show it"...
Btw, Mr Wilders isn't critisizing Islam, he is trashtalking it...
He isn't interrested in a discussion/dialog with muslims, just saying inflamatory things that resulted in him needing protection 24/7 and endagering other peoples lives...
And that isn't freedom of speech, it's hate speech...

    Quoted for emphasis.

"By putting out this film that incorrectly claims that Islam is a violent fascist religion, he's putting Dutch citizens at bodily risk from violent Islamic fascists..."
