    OMFG!

Happened 1am this morning. No updates on Sky news yet.

4.7 on the scale. Lasted about 6 seconds.

Earthquakes happen lots of unexpected places all the time, unless there is any damage it isn't really news.

edit: Now that alanricouk has updated his post it seems like it was bigger than expected.

Hope there is no major damages. Those old stone buildings don't give much.

Looks to be the Cheney/Haliburton(tm) Earthquake Generator tests will prove that it will make a perfect weapon alongside the Hurricane and Global Warming Generators.

Cheney does have quite good prospects for a post-Vice Presidential career as an independent global supervillain, if that's what he wants to do.

Sorry it was me, i unzipped and it just hit the floor before i could stop it.

Felt a slight shake but i just put it down to the Victoria line that isn't more them 100 yards from me.

Me and the wife had a 4.7 one literally on our old place's doorstep last year (think it was last year  ) which was....fun.

I can only think this is God trying to improve Birmingham and smiting them with natural disasters, which cause millions of pounds of improvements to the area, as they seem to be getting all sorts of mishaps down their way.
