Hawkeye cameo, too.. you forgot that to mention she's also an amputee. Watched the first episode, it didn't suck, but didn't really catch my interest either. The montage that turns her from protege to nemesis for kingpin wasn't "earned"... why would she believe Hawkeye with no prior inkling that KP had betrayed her trust?
Haven't yet watched Echo and it's been a bit since I watched Hawkeye. But in Hawkeye, there was a fellow bad guy who was conspicuously absent when Hawkeye/Ronin killed Papa Echo, and that she confronts that bad guy who basically confirms Papa Echo was set up by Kingpin. Subsequently, Echo confronts Kingpin who also confirms he set Papa Echo up.
