I never claimed anything about Bush I. He was amply qualified in my opinion.

Bush I was apparently also known for his curiosity and engagement with intelligence issues. I heard a former briefer on the radio the other day talking about often being asked to provide more information about one thing or another while Bush was vice president. He took it seriously and engaged with the topic ... unlike the human dumpster fire who's about to be in charge of our foreign policy.

He was also a pilot in the National Guard.

Back when George W. Bush was running for president many repeatedly demeaned and derided those experiences as useful.

Nope. Sure George W. Bush was unqualified but I enthusiastically encouraged him to run and supported him because of the policies I knew he advocated and I could not abide Al Gore or anything connected to the loathsome Bill Clinton.

What made him unqualified, then? He had military service and had run a business, a couple of them, actually. If his lack of qualifications didn't bother you then, why should Trump's lack of qualifications bother you now?

Seems like your qualifications are arbitrary and biased.

Bush 2 also had experience as a government executive.
