Apparently, somebody out there feels that the "gushers vs. bashers" war merits a fairly detailed Wikipedia article.
At this point in time, it doesn't look all that terribly written to me. That's one of the nice things about Wikipedia, I guess -- with all the many diverse contributors, you can have everything from the standard encyclopedic articles about "Snow" or "New Zealand" or "Politics" to incredibly microscopic stuff like a separate webpage for Every LP Or CD Released By Every Band That Ever Existed or lists of names of hundreds of asteroids ( ) In this case, I'd guess that the discussion of the controversy over the series grew to such a length that people decided it should be split off from the main ENT article and given its own page.
You have to read it in a whiny nasal voice that escalates to "nyyyeeaah hyeaahh hyeeeaah!!! ", by the third paragraph for the proper context.
