I am only speaking for myself since I apparently got left off the "Let's be hostile to FF" group chat but some responses:

1. "Hostility" is an overblown term here. Skepticism/criticism might be more appropriate.
2. You keep on playing the "Discovery"/New Trek is woke theme when Trek has always been woke.
3. You keep on playing the "Discovery"/New Trek ignores canon theme when often times referring to fanon, or to your expectations are of what canon means, or while ignoring that TOS self-contradicted a fair bit, and to a certain extent various episodes in TNG/DS9/VOY/ENT contradict TOS or each other.
4. You keep on pointing out issues with "Discovery"/New Trek plots or characterization that are often preposterous, wrong and/or ignore stuff in TOS and other shows that contradict your points.
5. You often act like a victim.
6. You often come off like you are parroting alt-right critics from YouTube who are pretty clearly acting in bad faith, which likely means that either a) you have swallowed gallons of their Kool-Aid and/or b) you are a troll.
7. Your obvious dislike for the show repeatedly raises the question of "If you hate it so much, why not watch something else?"

Pretty much none of the above generally applies to other posters here. And you can bet your bottom dollar that if we had a left-wing poster who posted similarly to you, but from the left, questions would be raised about that person.

Steve Shives is a pretty prominent TrekTuber who has never pulled a punch for what he considered bad writing, to the chagrin of S3 PIC stans and the entire Lower Decks fanbase. But his criticisms don't descend into stupid nonsense like "Trek hates white men" and with LD he just acknowledged that it wasn't a show for him and stopped giving it oxygen, the way I did w DSC until I watched it for myself.

Steve Shives hates fanservice. I enjoy it when it's reasonably well done, which is probably why Peter David is one of my favorite Trek authors.

I don't go to church and haven't belonged to a church in over twenty years. I also haven't said anything about trans people molesting people other than the one incident here in Virginia. I also haven't said anything about drag queens molesting kids either, you're conflating things and lumping me in with Tweets you've posted. I also didn't say that trans people are groomers. I said that some parents out there are grooming their kids to become transgender. I don't have a problem with adults doing whatever they want and you can say that it's not really about the kids until you're blue in the face, but for me, it is about the kids. I don't care what some other douche bag on Twitter says, they do not speak for me.

Nobody said it was impossible. Obviously it is, just like it's possible that people are conspiring against any one of us in any number of ways. No law of physics or quirk of technology prevents it. You could read all of our PMs and discover nothing, and we could still all be coordinating via text message. But ... really?
