Word's coming down that while we are all asleep tonight the Bush Administraion will seize Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in a deal that will save the banks and fuck the shareholders. Obama and McCain are said to support the move. Not that they have much of a choice. Letting the giants fail means the whole economy dies in short order.

If they weren't giving out loans to Liberals, spicks, and blacks they wouldn't be in this position in the first place.

This is what happens when you try and give low lifes a chance at the American dream.

They don't pay their bills and we all get fucked once again.

Will the stock market drop 500 points on Monday because of this?

I love how it's suddenly the taxpayer's responsibility to subsidize every dimwit who fucked themselves into an ARM and the dickwads that pushed them without bothering to see if the jackasses could pay. :(

GM, Ford and Chrysler are going to DC, poor-mouthing and begging for bailouts next.

Neither here nor there, but my retirement plan is moving along on track quite nicely. The biggest immediate setback to it will be buying a house, but that is actually a pretty good investment. Still, I want that million in cash (or at least securities) not home equity.

The thing that worries me is that I want a wife and kids, but weddings are expensive (to say nothing of getting TO the wedding) and don't build a lot in the way of equity. And college education is expensive. Ah well, if I do it right, I'll have cute blonde, blue-eyed kids and I can just have a couple more than I want and sell the extras into slavery to pay for the rest's college. :ramen:

Yeah, I expect a huge drop in the markets tomorrow. The more the government meddles, the worse this thing is going to be.

Fuck all, I think we're heading for an actual depression now.

I blame Bill Clinton. This is because of all the bad economic things he did 8 years ago. :diacanu:
