Well now wait a minute. Was Vic Mackey an anti--hero? Tony Soprano? I'd argue Faith was indeed an anti-hero.
You've got nerve calling other people cowardly when you run, run away from questions all the time. I create most of the tangent splits including this one.
You are such a whiny little bitch. It doesn’t matter who split it, everyone knows it was an admin or moderator. There aren’t more than one or two posters dumb enough to not realize these are split threads, who might think for a nanosecond that you actually started this thread, and I find it hard to believe you actually care what they think. It’s obvious it was a split thread, and that’s enough, IMO. That said, it is impolite not to post a split message in the new thread when you move posts, so please do so, whoever’s doing it.
Don’t remember Jayne’s redemption path. No idea who Kerr Avon is (don’t bother, I’ll google after I type this) and I didn’t believe her redemption path any more than Wes did. She wasn’t sorry. She was only sorry shit caught up with her.
I watched the clip I mentioned from a source that has right wing and left wing points of view, Breaking Points. But you be the judge. I then watched the whole interview to see exactly what Biden said. Then I made the comment I did and got the exact response I thought I would because any criticism of Biden is met with complete disdain and ignorance. I think it's fair to call out any US. president's bad response when it comes to Israel in a thread about Israel and I don't think it's fair to break that out into tangent thread and blame it on me. This type of shit happens all of the time though.
One thing I hated about Buffy was how morally inconsistent she was. Faith needs to be turned into the cops for killing one guy by accident, but Angel and Spike and Willow and Anya get understanding and forgiveness and over the pants hand stuff? C'mon.
Why does a discussion about the Biden administration's response to the Israel crisis deserve a tangent thread?
Is Blake’s 7 any good? I tried watching Red Dwarf and couldn’t get through one episode. And I never really got in to Dr. Who. Douglas Adams seems to be an anomaly.
Your post contained one sentence about the administration's response. The rest was your usual "I hate Biden" schtick. Then you went into your regular duck and dodge when asked about whether you watched the whole interview yourself, none of which was discussing the topic.
Also I'm 100% sure Firefly was gonna end up being a Buffy spinoff. Whedon was just waiting for the right time to reintroduce James Marsters as Space Spike.
Blakes 7 is a product of the time period - you are not going to get brilliant special effects and the dialogue is 70s sci-fi stuff similar to TOS. Most of the actors were stage-trained. Some of the extras are rubbish and some of them are Brian Blessed and Colin Baker. The premise is excellent though. The "heroes" are a terrorist, a thief, a smuggler, a freedom fighter (who regularly gets possessed by evil forces due to her telepathy), a murderer with a violence inhibitor and a computer hacker (who is probably the most ruthless of the lot). The villains are essentially Nazis in Space mixed with the Room 101 types from 1984, led by a glamorous power-seeker and her brutal cyborg enforcer with a grudge against Blake.
I'm not an administrator. You guys don't take any responsibility for what you do. You could at lest explain your actions.
My previous post just did, though O2C is correct that splits should have a post from the splitter in them. I used to do it, but have been lax about it lately.
In fairness, I don't think there's much in the way of inconsistency there. If you are a human like Faith and you kill a human in a purely human way, it makes sense that you should have to answer to the justice system that is set up to deal with human crime. If you are supernatural or being corrupted by the supernatural, and you commit crimes that are beyond the comprehension of the human justice system and for which it has no real means to deal, then normal jail isn't really an option.
Appears to only be streaming on British sites. And I’m not currently in a position to sign up for a VPN.
I seriously just asked someone who said ‘Hey, did you see this?!?!’ if they had actually seen it. Three hours later I got fucking triple digit mentions. So did the person who said ‘Hey did you watch this?’ actually watch the entire thing? Or we all still just hanging out reliving the hairs of SIN night?
Slayers are corrupted by the supernatural, tho. And I'm sure the Watchers already had procedures in place for exactly this sort of situation. Faith can't possibly have been the first Slayer to kill or harm an innocent human by accident, and she can't really explain to the cops why she was running around at night with a wooden stake.
No he hasn't watched it. Even if he said he did, we know he didn't cuz I asked him to make me a sandwich and it's not here yet and you know a sandwhich artist doesn't rest until that sandwich is done.
The Watchers did have a system in place for just such and occurrence. Faith swapped bodies with Buffy. And eventually still escaped. She wasn’t sorry and she wasn’t an anti-hero.
What did he say (I mean what did he actually say, not what someone told you said) that you disagree with?
