So, anyone besides me still watching this?

After last season's rather awful run, this one has been mildly entertaining so far.

Overall, I think it's time for them to get back to the business of making movies again though. Enough of this relationship drama.

Oh yeah.... and something tells me that Tex would have loved this thread as well.

Is it just me or is Mrs. Ari being a bit of a bitch? Not that Ari is a walk in the park, but she seems to be on a "tit for tat" tantrum, IMHO.

Yes, the first 4 eps of the final season have been stellar!

Oooooh - nice one, Melinda.

Liked this one as well - but seriously, get to making movies. :bailey:

Seriously, no one besides me and AlphaMan watching this? This used to be cool... :(

The curse of the AlphaMan strikes again!

    Yeah, E fucked up there.

I wonder what the writers have in store for Ari and his family? I really like Dana Gordon's character and it's obvious that she has a thing for him, but Ari doesn't strike ne as the kind of guy to dip out on his family without a fight. It would be kind of a cop out for Ari to end up with his wife after all of this though. So far, this arc has most of my interest this season.

IIRC, Raoul The Redshirt watches this and probably still does, but he's not around much anymore... and Tex is currently on vacation.

    Holy SHIT!!

that was probably the best episode in quite a long time. Everything is coming together for everyone but E.... and Ari too.

    One more? Really? :weep:

I used to watch this, then the unrelenting pussiness of E made me turn it off in disgust somewhere around season 2. I kept thinking, what kind of man behaves that way?? :wtf:

It was really too bad, as I like the other characters quite a lot. I think there was just a run of too many E-focused episodes, and I just gave up after that.

I think I've seen exactly one episode of this. The one where one of the guys dates an older woman who likes to toss the salad.

That might be the worst series finale I've ever seen. They didn't really wrap anything up, and I don't mean like The Sopranos didn't wrap anything up. They were just lazy. I guess I'm not surprised after the last 2 really shitty seasons though.

Was it just me or did the last episode turn the entire series into a chick flick? What the he'll was that?

I've heard rumors of an Entourage movie, but I don't know if the audience is big enough for that. The way this ended, it must be true. They are making an Entourage movie. The last Ep should've been able to stand on it's on movie or no movie though.

Meh, I enjoyed it a little. But then I'm a cheesy kinda guy.

Generally I agree that it was pretty unfulfilling - it's also a pretty good indication you won't get what you're looking for if they can't even be arsed to go above the standard 30 minutes after 8 seasons. I return to my earlier comments: this season just suffered from too much relationship drama and not enough business drama. It feels like almost nothing happened except Ari getting back together with his wife and E getting back together with Sloan.

The 'Vince falls in love' storyline felt forced, Turtle didn't get anything decent whatsoever (where's Jamie? how come he can't get another girlfriend or at least fight for Alex? why can't his business at least start?) - Drama was about the only one with something decent happening.

Also, is it just me or did they not show any tits whatsoever? :bailey:
