Hmmmm, would such a thing be legal for civilian use? I guess the question is do drones operate on civilian frequencies or do they operate on private bandwidths like cellular? I know you cannot legally interfere with licensed signals in the cellular range because they are protected by the FCC. So if you had an EM device that interefered with cell phone reception or blocked out that bandwidth in any way it is illegal to own and operate in the US. If the drones worked on public range EM signals you could legally have some fun shooting them out of the sky. I do believe they have a landing program that will bring them down safely if they lose contact with their controller so you would not be blowing them out of the sky into a smouldering crash as much as forcing them into a controlled landing. You could probably create an activated no fly zone around your house if you needed. Still, it would probably fuck with every blue tooth and wireless device you have set up for personal use.
well if I know my fellow Americans (and I think I do) nobody would try to circumvent any safety or security protocols for nefarious or entertainment purposes.
