Wasn't sure were to post this but I know a lot of you use Firefox and I could use some help. Every once and a while the web page will start jumping up and down on screen. It fixes itself after a few refreshes but I was wondering if there was a simple fix for this. And I'm running Vista though I think I remember having the same problem with xp a while back.

It needs to pee? Emptying the trashcan should help.

sorry, no clue. Good to see you around, though

This happened to me a few weeks a go. I thought the mouse was malfunctioning and was going to replace it but then it stopped doing it. No idea why or how.

Have you waited until the page loads entirely before scrolling?

Firefox, Opera, and most non-IE browsers will "jump" around when loading images on a page if the page writers didn't specify exactly how large the image was. IE, I believe, simply waits to render the page until it gets that information.

If so, there's no real fix beyond waiting for the page to load.

^ that wasn't my problem. The page would be fully loaded and just start scrolling up and down randomly. Gave me a headache.

Could be anything, really. Display, mouse scroll-wheel, maybe Firefox doesn't like the smell of the room your computer's in.
