Now heres an Animated show that went over so bad in the 90's that CBS cancelled it after only three Episodes. Fish Police was based on an independent comic book of the same name. It was one of several attempts to cash in on the popularity of The Simpsons at the time. Television executives, being soulless abominations with no brains or talent, simply figured that anything animated in prime time was going to be a hit. It wasn't. I remember watching the show at the time, finding it mildly amusing, but being unsurprised at its quick cancellation.
I hear that the executive producers figured it to be too silly for adults and too racy or "sexually suggestive" for children, so it quickly fell though the cracks. I myself see no real problem with it, considering some of the content we see on shows today like "Family guy" and "Southpark" I'd rather watch Fish Police than Southpark anyday!
