    Not very smart. Put it on the stand not running and leave it in neutral and turn the tire by hand is the way to do it. I heard a similar story about a guy who tried to wipe some grease off a truck drive shaft with it jacked up and the rag caught. He didn't live to tell the tale.

    I'm always surprised they never try reconstructing fingers.

    They're just skin bone and tendon basically. There are no muscles in them.
