really cool app called X-wing flight that has a number of missions, different difficulties, and different ships is out there. This is sort of like the old arcade game star wars and empire strikes back only with really nice graphics boost and different types of missions. I am not familiar with PC and console gaming. This is an app for pads and phones of both MAC and droid OS. It uses their motion sensors to control the craft and you hold your device with two hands and guide it like the old arcade controls. I had played it a while ago where it ended with a mission through the death star valley bombing run, but the newest version adds attacks on AT ATs, and cloud city missions which are beautiful and fun. There is not a lot of plot to it. Just missions where you earn money to upgrade and unlock different ship styles and difficulty levels. They also added an old republic mission group and ships so updates are still coming out. This is just the space fighting simulation and it is fun and can eat up time.
