    The media gave the Democratic primaries more coverage because they were actual contests where there was no guarantee that Obama or Clinton would win.

    Back when the Republican nomination was in doubt, both got equal coverage, roughly.

    If it had been in reverse and Obama or Hillary had sealed the deal a long time ago, the subsequent Democratic primaries would have gotten less coverage than the contested Republican ones.

    If the press were biased toward liberals AND had the power to end the primary season early, why wouldn't they have? It would have saved Obama a lot of money/effort and spared him a lot of embarassments.
