Man from now until November I just know Biden or Trump will come out with "I'm rubber and you're glue!" one more than one occasion, with "Liar Liar pants on fire" also a strong possibility!

If Biden performs this way during the debates, he's toast.

Yanno, there's an episode of The West Wing where a VP candidate fake-bumbles his way through all of the practice debates, then mops the floor with his rival in the actual debate. It would be great if this were the case with Biden, but I doubt it. My best hope is that he's going to step aside at the last minute for someone who can at least complete a sentence. :(

    At the last minute?

No that would be a disaster for the Democratic party. Why? Because the DNC is probably going to tell Biden who to pick as his VP and then cut him loose. The problem with that is a massive part of the people who would vote Democrat are going to be pissed off if the DNC tries to ram Biden's VP pick as the nominee.

Sanders people will of course go ballistic as they will believe that the DNC stole the nomination yet again.

But even the other candidates supporters will be upset. If Biden has to step down because of his health those other voters will be asking if he decided on the VP pick or was the VP chosen for him by the DNC knowing he would step down?

Doing all this at the last minute will just make things even worse for the Democrats.

If they shove Hillary on us as his VP, you'll know the whole thing is rigged for sure, and Joe won't last a month in office before mysteriously committing suicide with a car bomb.

Joe at this rate isn't going to make it to the election.

It's April. What will he be like in July, August, September, or October? When we've eased some stuff on Covid19 and people really start paying attention to the campaigns. Joe can't hide until election day.

And like I said in another post, average don't pay attention to politics people do not vote for the VP pick. They vote for the top of the ticket and it doesn't matter who the VP pick is.

And they can't hide Joe from Trump. He's going to have to debate Trump and right there in front of the nation you're going to see Joe like we've been seeing in these videos.

Also since everyone knows that Joe has problems everyone in the Democratic Party will be upset with each other. Each group of supporters of the dropped out candidates will complain.

#1 Why didn't he drop out earlier?

#2 Did he choose the VP or given his mental state was the VP foisted on him by a combination of family, campaign staff, and high ups in the party?

If the DNC were crazy enough to let Clinton slide in as Joe's VP spot and let her take the top spot after he drops out I think you'd see a significant portion of the voters who would vote Democrat stay at home.

So Joe doesn't have to worry about a car bomb because he won't make it to the general election.

Biden is senile? So is Trump, and obviously. So was Reagan. It’s not a dealbreaker in the Greatest Country Ever.

    No Trump is not.

Wake the fuck up. Come back to reality. If you can look at Biden and Trump and say both are senile you're only deluding yourself and you're going to be highly disappointed in November.

If you really want to see Trump gone you and every other voter out there should be demanding Joe leave the campaign. Now.

No, Donnie-boy is not senile. He's a self-absorbed, narcissistic sociopath who can't read. There's no room for senility on his spectrum.

However you want to break it down, it's dubious to say that Trump is mentally healthy.

In December, 350 psychiatrists and other mental health professionals submitted a letter to Congress outlining concerns of Trump's mental health.

Both Trump and Biden are elderly. Whether either are truly senile is a coin toss, but neither are in their mental prime. I've mentioned (and others here have too) that there are plenty of younger & in their mental/physical prime candidates on both sides. I for the life of me can't figure out why it's almost always old versus old in presidential elections. Yes it takes time to develop a skillset and gather life lessons & experience but either you have your shit together or you don't by age forty or fifty so that should be a very typical age group represented by presidents - but that's not always the case.

A large part of it is that too many Americans have been trained to get their information from "sound-bite news" for decades now. The "TLDR" mentality that doesn't want to digest anything longer than a couple of lines has radically diminished critical thinking.

Thus, "name recognition" is one of the biggest factors in American politics. And it takes a lot of experience in politics, normally, to achieve that on a national scale. (There have been a few exceptions, particularly among Democrats, but they are exceptions and thus, by definition, rare.)
