Which are your favorites? I want to get my dad a pair for Christmas since his current ones just broke.
If any of you absolutely adore your headsets, please post which model they are!

Right now I'm looking at the Steelseries Siberia V2.

I just bought a Turtle Beach headset for Halo 4, it also works for the PC, so I'm hoping this fixes the issues I've had with the DnD game.

Razer Chimaera 5.1. They were spendy as fuck, though.

If you need something a little more budget-conscious but still good, these should do just fine.

I went through a couple pairs of Turtle Beach headsets made for Xbox 360. They were shit. Every one of them had mic problems. The x11s both had a speaker die.

I'm using Astro A40s now. They're expenive but they sound amazing. I use them for about all my movie/tv viewing as well anymore. The mic is great, too. The mixamp is also fantastic. The 5.1 emulation works pretty well, and you can adjust the audio for more voice chat or game audio. I find this especially useful when gaming on the xbox.

Thanks for the suggestions. I've put them on Newegg and Amazon and I'll watch the prices over the next month. I have about 6 headsets to choose from, so all that needs to happen is for one to get cheaper! :D

Crap. :( My f540's died. The battery stopped holding a charge, I tried to buy a replacement battery from Logitech. They were out, so I disassembled it and took the battery to RadioShack and no luck. I then remembered that I purchased a 2 yr replacement plan for them at Best Buy. That's when I found out that Logitech discontinued the model. They gave me a store credit, so I added $100 with it and got the Turtle Beach XP400. Still wireless and still works with PS3 and 360, but I lost PC support. What's even worse is that where I only had to tap a button to switch input between 360 & PS3 before, now I have to physically disconnect wires and attach them to the other console for a switch. I have to re-pair the Bluetooth device each time I switch too.

    This sucks! :(

The Logitech's were superior in every way except surround sound (5.1 to 7.1), but who really cares about that? ... and they were $100 cheaper!! I will miss my old headset.

I asked my dad if he'd had fit issues with any brand and he said most of them are too small for his head.

So I found that Tritton makes large headsets... for PS3/XBOX ONLY :bang:

Have any of you got a particularly large head? If so, please recommend a brand that fits people with enormous noggins.
