Holy crap! But I'm guessing the fortune cookie writer can't totally nail a bassline on his Rickenbacher, so it's a wash in Geddy'sfavor.
Oh yeah! The drummer writes the songs....Geddy sings/shrieks them. Anyway, he forgot to put "in bed" at the end of the fortune.
So ,the singer writes the melody to words provided by the drummer (who will never actually sing them). Seems like there's an extra link in this chain. But it works, so you can't argue with success.
Or the drummer writes the words to fit the melody provided by the singer. Either way, I ain't gonna argue. Some folks is good w/ tunes, some w/ words. More power to them!
