    No, fucking idiot. Once again you've opened your mouth and demonstrated your utter stupidity. Not only is it you who fail to comprehend basic contract law, but apparently you missed one too many Remedies classes as well. You know, the classes where they taught that a person is entitled to be restored to the position they were in before the supposed harm?

    The stupid cow may have relied on the parents promise (and that's assuming you could even prove such a promise was made) to send in an application. If which case the only thing she's out is the $50 application fee. Maybe you'd have a stronger case for "substantial" reliance if the twat had already rented an apartment and signed the lease, enrolled in classes and bought her books, and paid for a student season football pass.

    But you don't have any of these things, which means you don't have "substantial" reliance, which means you're a retarded fuckwit who would waste the court's time with a frivolous suit and end up costing your client money in the form of having to pay the other side's legal fees.
