Failure to adequately provide for your children's education should be treated the same way as failure to provide for their food, clothing, shelter, and medical care. Do people who habitually starve their kids or let them die of preventable conditions get to keep them?
Ah, well, see you were being a bit sneaky there. I'm no doctor or pharmacist, I'm not familiar with what random germs we normally carry or not. So then basically your kids suffer from no ill effects? I can easily see that as the general rule. On the whole, not THAT many kids who aren't vaccinated would contract the viral equivalent of the Bubonic Plague. but I wouldn't want to play the lotto on my kids like that.
UA, when you find yourself sounding like Hillary Clinton when it comes to "for the children", it's time to take a step back and ask yourself if you are wrong.
Oh don't get me wrong, my own children will be vaccinated, but I don't feel it is right to force someone to go against their religious or personal beliefs. My child's vaccines will keep my child safe.
And who will keep the religious moron's kids safe? I'm no big believer in the idea of the "nanny state", but I do believe that one function of the government is to care for those who can't care for themselves. Disabled vets. Mentally handicapped. Physically handicapped. Children. It's the liberal side of me, I guess. Anyway, the fact is also that sometimes vaccines don't take. Someone who's been vaccinated still gets the virus. or it mutates. Or something along those lines. So even if your kids are vaccinated, that isn't a 100% guarantee.
There is no right to abuse your children. If you're suggesting I have anything in common with that woman, you're doing a very poor job of interpreting what I say.
Sometimes you can wear your seatbelt, but still get killed in a head-on with an 18 wheeler. Damn if my kids are going to wear seatbelts!
Their god. This is one of those times I have to side with the survival of the fittest (or smartest). If a virus wipes out all those genetically predisposed to stupidity because their parents were against vaccines then we won't have to worry about another geration of stupid.
