This is my all time favorite show! I love the wit and the snappy dialogue. Lauren Gram (i dont think i spelled her last name right) and Alexis Blendel are both gorgeous and their characters are so smart! I've gotten my friends attached to this show, while my family ramains annoyed by Emily and Michelle.
Well, is it a "girly-girl" show? I don't think I would have much of a connection to the subject matter if it's basically a chick-flick in sitcom clothing. And it's Lauren Graham, I believe.
I've tried and tried, but I just can't get into it. It's not bad by any stretch of the word...just not my cup of tea.
Gilmore Girls was a great show... for the first three years. In addition to Lauren Graham and Alexis Bledel, there has been outstanding work by Scott Patterson (Luke), Kelly Bishop (Emily), Liza Weil (Paris) and Sean Gunn (Kirk). But really, the whole thing has dragged on too long, with more and more bizarre reasons to keep Luke and Lorelai apart. I think that they should have had the big wedding at the end of last season. They could have given us one year of Luke and Lorelai as a married couple, and had Rory graduate in the series final. There have been great moments, but seven years is more than enough. The events of this season have the fans in open revolt. This is a show that really needs to end.
yeah...Luke and Lorelai belong together. I wish they would just get married and get over it...they're in love they can't deny it. As for what should happen with Christopher...I have no clue...but he and Lorelai should JUST be friends.oke: Yeah...my favrite season was Rory's first year at Yale...until she got with Logan...ive just never really liked Logan. Rory should have dated Marty. I love Marty. as for Rory's past boyfriends...I love Dean there is no denying that and I'm glad they gave it another try...I wish Jared Padalecki would not have left the show...he was great. I liked Jess okay...until right before he and Rory dated...and while they were dating...when they broke up, i liked him again...I'm just wishy washy with Milo Ventimiglias character (he's an amazing actor though). Logan i dont like, and I've never liked. Rory has changed a lot over the past few seasons and i have liked her less and less. I used to love Rory...now it's just like..."ehh...she's okay." Of course they can't give us a year of Lorelai and Luke being married and Rory's graduation, that would be too much of what everyone wants...they have to be complicated. But still...it remains...I love Gilmore Girls!
I'm glad Jared Padalecki left because now he's on Supernatural with the super hot Jensen Ackles. Makes my Thursday night viewing MUCH easier on the eyes!
well, yes, of course im glad he got his own show...that hot boy is goin places! i was just a little disappointed that he left
I watched till Lorelai cheated on Luke, Adultery is a show killer in my mind. They have jumped the shark with it. I hate to see someone want out of a relationship so much they have to go behind someone's back and stab them in it. Pitifull IMHO.
....? I'll just assume you're talking about the first four seasons (and to some extent, season five). Last season was utter crap, including the idea of Luke having a daughter he doesn't know about (Hmm, illegitament children. That's not used very much in this show already ). I mean, FUCK. Fanfiction writers have been doing this plot for YEARS, and now that it became canon, it's all but been dropped it's too funny. The shark was jumped last season when Rory dropped out of college because of one highly biased man's opinion (and the reasoning she gave behind this made no fucking sense whatsoever) and decided to get revenge by stealing a boat. And I could have forgiven that if TPTB had made some sort of interesting conflict upon Rory's return to the status quo (IE, a more shake relationship with mom, struggling to get back on track at school)...but no, we got treated to Luke and Lorelai and her whining an dbitching about being second to a daughter Luke had no idea existed beforw and wanted to bond with. Yawn. Kill this show and put it out of its misery.
The producer that was keeping the show alive solely on the Lorelai character has left. Well, seven seasons is not a bad run for a show, right? If there are fans left, they should hope and pray that the writers fix the mess they did with this one and give it a proper ending...
Jared has grown up so much in all the right places. That skinny boy turned into a man. When I think that Rory didn't want this....I laugh at her.
haha, shyeah! I LOVE jared!!! hes so gorgeous!!! would definately have his babies (stress the plural there!)!
Gilmore Girls is best in small doses, the banter between the two is funny but the gimmick wears thin after only a few minutes. Then it's just boring and perhaps a tad annoying. Though I must admit I'm not the target audience and have only seen bits here and there when my wife was watching.
^ I didn't know you were married, Clyde. Anyway: I saw this and was reminded of the sentence I see in so many Harry Potter bad fanfics: "Hermione Granger had curves in all the right places." But yeah. The guy's gotten hotter, that's for sure.
yeah...he got a bit chubby at the end of New York Minute in the last scene, but he remains hot no matter how big he gets! I like my boys all sizes!!! when he got bigger that just made him look more like a teddy bear...and i love teddy bears
Personally, I think one of the main thing that drug down season seven was Lorelei and Luke not speaking together. and THAT was because of the lame-ass decision to have Lorelei go back to a man she wasn't even crazy enough about to marry when the stick turned blue twenty-one years before. Ugh. Season six was an all-around abortion on so many level.
