Where do you think he would be if the press treated him the same as they treated Bush the 8 years he was in office?
I find it fascinating because Bush had never ending barrage of attacks by the National news media yet was still able to win two terms. His approval ratings were not dropping as early as Obama's yet the same national news media outlets have treated this President with kid gloves. Even Jimmy Carter had higher numbers up until the year of the election.
Yeah, it's too bad Obama didn't have to deal with any manufactured scandals about "czars," ludicrously exaggerated reports of how much his trips cost, or hysterical frothing at the mouth every time he spent a holiday in the wrong place.
Are we really pretending that Obama isn't enduring a never ending barrage of attacks? It's all I see. Maybe I just hang out here too much.
Considering that Newsweek is making excuses for his lousy performance, Skin would say that although maybe Kirk doesn't have as much of a point as he thinks, he does have a point.
