Oh, no. The dreaded computer model. Did they run it on the X-Box? Is the program compatible with the PS-3?

In other breaking news, computer models show a permanent ice age when our sun dies.

This is outstanding news. A little like Lex Luthor in "Superman: The Movie". All I have to do is buy land in California at 10 feet above sea level and in 3000 I'll be on the beachfront!

OK. Sarcasm aside, back in the Dark Ages, there were roving apocalyptic prophets, predicting the End Times based on the Christian religion. It's nice to see Science has advanced to the level of the Dark Ages. Maybe in another 1,100 years climatologists will have the level of credibility Catholic priests have today.

By the year 3000, I think we'll have the technology to scrub the atmosphere to an optimally "clean" state. We'll also be using batteries the size of a fingernail that generate vast amounts power using minute variances in multi-dimensional gravitational constants; have continuous direct-brain integration to the Interstellar descendant of the World Wide Web; and use nanotechnology to enjoy better recuperative powers than Wolverine and Hulk have.

    Oh, for fuck's sake.

The damned computer models couldn't predict the cooling of the the most recent decade, why in the name of fuck should I assign an iota of credibility to their dire predictions of things that will happen a millenium after I'm dead?

There is NO evidence other than these computer models (which I put exactly NO trust in) that CO2 in the atmosphere behaves that way. Do you really think it's possible that if human production of CO2 ended altogether in 2100, that, somehow, it would result in runaway global warming NINE HUNDRED YEARS LATER? That's ridiculous. If the environment were that sensitive to CO2, it would be a wonder that ANY ICE at all exists on the planet.

Why do these assholes NEVER make a prediction that can be tested within, say, OUR FUCKING LIFESPANS?

Because Global Warming is bad, mmk, and you need to lower your carbon footprint.

Fuck them. They need to go eat a can of dicks for all their crying wolf over CO2. If they focused on CO or methane, I could see more reason to lend an ear (hey cow farmers! Stop feeding your cows corn, and they'll stop farting methane as much!). In the meantime, I'll plant some trees.

Ah the blind faith and trust that those who believe they are superior to everyone, you know the type, people like you, place in scientist that have admittedly lied and duped the world over the bogus claim of humans being responsible for the "destruction" of the environment.

Why don't you go fuck yourself and keep your religion of global warming and climate change to yourself The Defender. Your religion is complete crap and bullshit. Shove it up your ass.

Yes, there are alarmist press people out there who take the actual science and then extrapolate it to absurd ends. Though just because some people misuse the data and write unsupportable alarmist things in the popular press that has nothing to do with the peer reviewed scientific evidence out there.

Oh yes, because scientist aren't protecting each other. It took years before the falsified data came to light. So either the "peer reviewed" information was covered up by the scientific community, or they are really fucking stupid. Kind of like you Nutball.... errr... Oerdin.

Wow, just wow. There has been no falsified data which has come to light in the peer reviewed process and even the entire "climategate" emails didn't show that after a long outside review. Please link to a creditable scientific source that such a thing has happened and made it through the peer review process. That's almost as lame as claiming I'm eightball just because he gave me some rep.

You can shove your links up your collective ass Eightball, I mean Oerdin. The simple fact is this. With there being falsified data out there regarding global warming, it calls into question all of the data that is being forced on us by the scientific community and the Global Warming worshippers like you.

I'll tell you what asshole. Practice what you preach. If you believe in Global Warming and human's being the cause of it. Resolve to remove yourself from the situation. If you aren't living a life that is eco friendly, do it. If others aren't living eco friendly that is their choice, leave them the hell alone.

OK, so you can't support your position and will simply keep saying it is true without any proof and regardless of any proof presented. I'm glad we got that out of the way.

I don't believe in any dogma, be it religious, political, or scientific. I do find it interesting that the same people who decry the possibility of climate change do so on the basis that we don't understand climate very well.
