Found pickles lying on the bathroom floor, barely alive. Just came back from the vets to have her put to sleep, She had Cancer, and it spread faster then anyone could have guessed.

Goodbye baby, will miss you so much

I'm sorry to hear that. I did the same thing last year with one of my cats. It is very hard to see them decline so quickly. Condolences for you and anyone else touched by her.

    That's an absolute bugger. :(
But you know you did the right thing, and you have the happy memories.
I know that doesn't help ATM, but it will, eventually.

I stayed with her right til the end, and stroked her while the vet did her thing.

But when she just stopped breathing it was so hard.

Yeah, same with my dog. Nothing quite like it to make you cry like a baby. Sorry brother.

Oddly, I had a dog named Pickles as well and she suffered the same sudden collapse and died.
Not from the same source, but still, the suddenness.

A painful spot to be in.

My condolences Goldeneye. Just remember that death intensifies the feeling we have for the ones that are no longer with us....

We grieve much, because we loved much.

My girlfriend's family dog had to be put down last year. She was pretty much the last reminder of life before her parents got divorced. It was really heartbreaking.

    RIP, Pickles.

My cat died of cancer... she got sick on a friday morning (my birthday) and we had an appointment on sat afternoon...

We came home friday night after my birthday party and found her dead on the stairs... When we droped her off at the vet on satto get cremated, the doc took a blood sample to see what killed her... he said she had cancer.

I had to put down one of my dogs last semester and it was almost unbearable. My cat is my pride and joy. I dread the day I have to let him pass on. Condolences, man.

That's rough. We've had one of our cats for 7 years now. It will tear the kids up when he dies.

Man that sucks, I hate losing pets. I don't have any now but I remember each one of my dogs dying tragically growing up and my cat just disappearing in middle school. :(
