Who here uses Google now as it should? Not just the search function by typing your query and getting the required results. I'm talking about actually speaking to it and weave your life with ease. Tell me your uses and how exactly has it changed your way of using your smartphone, probably android. From an Xperia device
From the home screen on my Android smartphone I can simply say go to word forge. Net. And it will open the page in the Chrome browser. In fact I made this entire post using speech to text on my android phone.
@Vtrendzzy Would you disable the "From an Xperia device" notice that appears on your posts? It's almost as annoying as the guy a few years back who signed off every post like it was a letter.
I can do several other things with it, I can set alarms, set reminders, get driving instruction, call people, send texts and call people.
I hardly ever speak to it, but I do like how Google Now anticipates my needs and hands me information I didn't guess I'd need, such as pointing out a restaurant I'll probably like where I travel, reminding me of addresses and reservations, or pulling tidbits from recent blogs and newscasts that it guesses I'd like to read. It does an amazingly good job -- many people are frightened when I tell them about it, but frankly, I just love the benefits.
Hasn't this been standard on most phones for quite some time? I don't use it much, because I don't like all the dicks who talk to their phone around me, so I try not to be a dick back to the world.
I can change that for sure but i'm not sure if it'll stop annoying you. I use Tapatalk and it has a signature feature in it. I'm afraid if I disable it, it'll start writing "Sent from using Tapatalk". I've a reason to put it like that also. I'm on xda developers forum and my signature helps others knowing which device I am using. Sorry if that bothers you.
