    Ouch. It'll be awhile before this hits a consumer market, but damn. That's some killer resolution there. 3840 x 2160 pixels for the win!

    What I'm really excited about in this article is the $700 24" 1920x1200 widescreen PC Monitor.

    Good luck getting some device to push that many pixels out at any decent framerate.

    I'm kinda more interested in the new push for 120hz refresh rate LCDs. Not that eye strain is an issue with 60hz, but for movies and games I'd like to get over 60 fps.

    I can't wait till a few years down the road when videocards can pump out that sort of resolution with ease. For gaming you'd be able to run it at half resolution and still get awesome quality, for any kind of editing work however the full resolution would be really useful.
