Sounds like a step in the right direction.

So, when the GOP proposes such things they're bad, but when a member of a corrupt crime family proposes it it's good.

    Ok.

Well ,aside from the typical Dem Rhetoric about "tax cuts for billionaires" and how you are going to "pay for" tax cuts when in fact cuts increase revenue, let me just speak to the actual proposals.

    My reaction?

If you actually believe it, but it on the floorf. You have majorities in both houses, there's no way anyone kills a tax cut in an election year, so put it out there.

    In January.

    Pass it.

    Deeds, not words.

Interesting, although a family income over $150,000 isn't that uncommon. What is the flat tax rate for higher incomes? Or are they still under the current tax scheme? If so that part sounds like nothing more than an increase in the amount of people who won't pay much taxes, hardly a universal flat tax plan.

It does sound as though it does nothing to scrap the current tax scheme and lessen the government's role in our lives.

It's definitely an improvement over what we have now.

    But this:
I don't find this sentiment credible.

For some reason I doubt that any of the current Democratic candidates would be willing to promote or endorse recommendations like the ones listed in the OP.
