Has anyone here ever seen the Jar Jar Binks FREE version of The Phantom Menace? I never saw it.

But if I remember correctly the fan made edit of TPM completely removing Jar Jar Binks from the movie was available online, but I'm probably going back some years now at this point. Maybe its still available for viewing online somewhere?

But did any of you see that 100% Jar Jar Binks FREE version of TPM & how is it?

Like a lot of people I would LOVE to see it.

The anti-cheese cut wittles out as much of Jar-Jar as possible, and where they can't remove him, they give him alien language dialog with subtitles, and heroic warrior dialog in those subtitles, and that fixes pretty much everything.

Why would I want to remove Jar Jar? He's the best character in all of Star Wars.

All of fiction, really.

I did not realize people did that sort of thing. I have to look for a version of the Harry Potter movies without harry. Maybe they have an evangelion without Shinji too. Or maybe most awesome of all a Cardcaptor Sakura without Li.

IS Jar Jar the MOST HATED & TERRIBLE fictional character of all time?

If not , where should Jar Jar rank on that list?

Willie from "Temple Of Doom" is pretty hated.

Gurgi from "The Black Cauldron" gives Jar-Jar a run for his money.

Barney isn't on many people's love list.

Ehh...I don't hate him...but he's a little cringe.
I loved him as a little kid, but now...he kinda comes off as a low-rent Gollum.

I still like Willie.

I'll take "People Who Didn't Read the Introduction" for $100, Levar. Dude who wrote the books not only admitted that he cribbed heavily from Tolkien, but that he also failed to return the books to the library he borrowed them from.

I think this is the version I saw. It did make the movie a lot better, but there was still plenty of awkward dialogue from the human characters.
