I hope you are all well. I have had very little time and decided to post here when I got a little breathing room. I am still going to school with only five 8 week courses left. Between working long hours and school there is not much time for real life like WF? I sure miss the banter and absurdness of this place. Regards, EP
Wow, that was a smack in the face. I was hoping to get up there and see her one day when visiting the in laws in Boston. Hopefully her spirit is arguing with Techman and Maud somewhere.
Dunno if you ever met @Chardman, but he passed away some months ago too. Besides, same shit, with a few new characters.
I am sorry to say that I don't remember him but it looks a though he passed away not very old. He was from Indy, same as Techman.
Yup, that was her: http://www.nbcnews.com/id/16614865/ns/us_news-life/t/woman-dies-after-water-drinking-contest/ But let's be honest, how many of us knew drinking water could actually kill?

That's not what I would call common knowledge though for a number of reasons. Water is a good thing, essential to life. That's what we're taught anyhow. I don't remember anyone ever telling me too much water could be deadly.
True, the first time I heard of someone dying of too much water intake I thought "WTF?", but was thinking it could cause low electrolyte levels. Which would cause the body to be unable to maintain nerve impulses that cause autonomous functions. It can, but the brain swelling is much more likely. But...
