Why is it that Nathan is totally cool while Peter sucks donkey balls now? Peter didn't used to suck donkey balls, but he's such a twat now. Oh and Mohinder?

PLEASE. GET. RID. OF. HIM. CAST. TOO. BIG. HE. SUCKS.

I was a little disappointed with the Linderman thing. It was really very cut and dry, it made complete sense, yet I was hoping for something a little more shocking. I was hoping for something more along the lines of Linderman's consciousness floating around in space due to some unknown ability of his or someone else's. Oh well.

Yeah, the Peter story is going nowhere and its taking the Sylar story down with it. So now nothing Sylar did was really his fault and we should just forgive him ? Eh... I don't know. Maybe the producers really wanted to cash in on him playing Spock and figured more people might tune in if he was a good guy. Who knows.

On an unrelated note - My Own Worst Enemy wasn't nearly as bad as I was expecting.

They've got a real quandary with Skylar. They made the character evil enough that he deserves to get killed, (poor innocent Charlie the waitress, his adoptive mom, Maya's brother and countless others, but he's "sorry" so it's all cool right?) but the actor is so damned fascinating TPTB want (and need) to keep him around. For my money, Zachary Quinto is a far more skiled and charismatic actor than Milo Ventimiglia. Milo's a nice guy, but he can't act to save his life. He's a pretty face. I've preferred Nathan to him from day one (were Pasdar and Scott Bakula separated at birth? Pasdar looks like Bakula's slightly more exotic brother. You could totally buy they were produced by the same parents if they were brothers in real life).

I wasn't disappointed by Linderman because we saw his brains get gooped out of his skull on screen. Him being alive was too much. Nice to see that Nathan forgave Peter for shooting him, but what was the point if there was no fallout played first? On Supernatural last week--the other "brother" show on tv--they played the fallout big time when Dean found out Sam had lied to him and ignored his dying wish. The fallout was so nasty (two punches to the head, accusations flying, a threat that he'd hunt him if he didn't know him personally) that the fangirls were traumatized. And Sam didn't even try to kill him, like Nathan with Peter. No fallout. Nothing. I hate to see that because the Petrelli family is the most intriguing on Heroes. They should be a focal point, not watered down. At least...

Angela, Nathan, Tracy, Peter, (if they retcon him being a twat and fix it) Sylar, Parkman, Noah, and Elle. Dump all the other regulars. Save the show.

[?=Don't read if spoilers make your mangina ache]I saw the "Daddy Parkman behind the Linderman visions" thing coming a mile away.

And while the Sylar power may come with a strong urge to dissect people, character traits still played a role. Sylar reveled in the act. I don't care how Gabriel acted in the future, Sylar is not redeeming himself or mending his ways. He's just smart enough to play along and keep his enemies close.

As for Peter, he's weak. Remember when his "power-absorbing" power overwhelmed him the first time he encountered Sylar face-to-face? I suspect this is no different. Sylar's power is just getting the best of him until he learns to control it, and Mama Petrelli doing everything she can to incur everyone's hatred probably didn't help his self-restraint.

Mohinder can die. Maya can die.

And I know it won't turn out to be the case, but I hope Hiro really does turn "amoral pragmatist," and hope Ando really is dead. That would show some major balls on the part of the writers.

Puppet man, Fiery Birthmama, and Claire. They're obviously not going to flesh out her birth mom as a major character, so hopefully her inevitable killin' and the encounter with Puppet man have some real, lasting consequences.

I wouldn't count on that bit with Hiro and Ando coming to pass. You know they don't have the balls. Hiro's their cute little Japanese child. As for Claire, Meredith, and the puppet master, remember this

That's one of Heroes' major problems. Clare, Peter, and Hiro are too powerful. You always wonder why they don't do this or that thing in a certain situation.

    Ando is so not dead.

Of course when Hiro has 5 mins alone he will transport back in time and teleport Ando to the hospital.

Or he pulled a fast one (like when he was at the speedster's apartment) froze time, set up a blood pack/fake sword, and fake stabbed Ando.

Ando really is the only 'human' character (in more ways then one) left on the show. They can't afford to lose him.

I, for one, am very intruiged how the fix the Hiro/Ando thing. I'm sure they will.

I'm reasonably down with the supposed reformation of Sylar because this whole bunch is filled with moral ambiguity. Reforming Sylar is in the same pot as Peter shooting nathan, Hiro and Ando killing each other, Clair killing Peter, et al. This is not a moral world we have going here.

I liked the vortex guy but I could see how you just complicate things if you have Sylar or Peter pick up that power too.

And what the FUCK are they doing with Mohinder? The "real" Spider man?

There is no need for spoiler tags when the title says spoiler in it and people in here have all watched the episode. You shouldn't be in here reading if you haven't seen the episode.

    This episode was stupid.........

Who the hell has a Vortex as a power? I'm surprised the guy hadn't sent the whole planet into one. And I agree with HRG that someone like him is dangerous even if he's not a criminal. He's just a person with a power that is too destructive. He should have never been kept on level 5. He should have been killed the moment they caught him. How the hell did that guy never manage to break out of his cell?

And it was a good call of HRG to try to get him to kill Sylar. Clarie is too naive. I know shes just a teenage girl but still.....

I know they won't kill Ando because he and Hiro are two of the most popular guys on the show and of all the characters I like Ando and HRG the best.

And yes Mohinder needs to die. How is he keeping his victims alive? (Though it appears the drug guy is dead) I was expecting a chestburster in that one scene.....

And Maya....well she can die too but only after she does a full Playboy spread and a few flicks....

Oh and now for a serious question.....

We now know the company created these powers. At least they say they did. We know the formula was cut in half but stupidly not destroyed. Why are there so many people who seem to have powers then? It's easy to see why the main characters have it. Their families in one way or another are connected to the company but what about Vortex guy? What about all those others who Sylar killed in the first season? What about the people on level 5? Or the super fast girl? What's their connection?

To me it seems as if the company did something really stupid and now they are simply trying to cover it up by bringing in all the mutants. My bets on Nathan's dad being the cause.....

Well the company didn't create all the powers. Just a few of them, or maybe a majority, I don't know.

Certainly they didn't create Adam's powers.

I'm still guessing we learn that everyone with a natural power is somehow related to Adam.

    You're right.

I forgot about him. Perhaps it was the company getting their hands on him that led them to find the formula.

My problem with Adam however is why haven't people in the past shown up with powers? Why only now?

It could be that Adam's DNA being spread out among the population no doubt makes people able to accept the formula. If you have the parts of his DNA then that and the formula can turn you on so to speak....

You could get married more than once and have lots of one night stands in four hundred years. If all those children have children, the genes get passed down. Adam was in Japan for a long time. It's a plausible idea.

Not destroying the formula was pretty stupid, but Heroes' writing has been pretty dumb lately. Of course Ando isn't dead. They wouldn't go there.

The same way Peter never got out. They have medication to suppress powers. They gave him a pill every day and put a gun to his head, and he took the pill.

A pill? I've never seen the pill part. I could have missed it but I've always been under the impression that they keep them sedated.

We saw the episode when the breakout occurred. That one guy with the fire certainly could have burned his way through that glass at any time.

No he stabbed Ando. No telling how he gets him back but I'm sure he stabbed him.

It was funny that the others weren't expecting it. :D

$5 says Hiro quickly leaves, then jumps back later to the moment of stabbing and gets him to a hospital.

I doubt there was an actual stabbing at all. Anything is possible when you can stop time to set the stage for a performance. I just hope the plot device that saves Ando's life isn't really stupid and annoying.
