Hilton Head Island

Now that is somewhere i wouldn't mind going. Must be a few wordforgers with vacation experience there?

I've been to Kiawah Island which is like 2 hours up the coast and it was freaking awesome - great golf (they played the Ryder Cup there one year I believe), fantastic beaches and awesome weather. Charleston is a great city too.

I've never been there, but know people who have. It's about four and a half hours away from me.

I know someone who has a second home there, other than that never been there. Maybe he'll invite me sometime.

I've been there - nice area, but then again anywhere in "the low country" is great. That said the recent hurricane has wreaked a lot of damage in the Hilton Head area.
