I don't have all my decorations up yet. This month has been a madhouse. But I got the Christmas outfits for Thursday made and my santa's clothesline done..just need to find a spot for it. I've been hauling tail on stuff and my orders though. We don't have the tree up yet either - I didn't feel like chasing the baby around for a month (usually its up on the 15th of November) - hopefully this weekend. Cute puppers
Looks good you guys Kiddles and I are planning on moving forward on stuff today. Seems I have the flu though (boo) we don't have a tree yet because DH refuses to get a real one because (get this) the branches might not be SYMETRICAL! I say wth - of course they won't be. ITS A REAL TREE. But no no he wants to get a fake one, and he has to pick it because god forbid I get the wrong size, or height or style or what have you. He also picks the 'tree theme' and even takes back ornaments if they don't match the colour and theme...the kids get to decorate one side...then he turns it to the wall :santa_rolleyes: :santa_rolleyes::santa_rolleyes::santa_rolleyes::santa_rolleyes::santa_rolleyes::santa_rolleyes::santa_rolleyes: (I cannot insert enough of these here lol) I keep asking when he morphed into his mother and if there's something he wants to tell me (like does he need a purse and have a 'secret story'?)
Trolling in the Green Room Tamar? That's a bit dissapointing. Anyhow, it's a painting, not a photograph.....so yeah, it did come with the frame.
She's pretty The kids and I are sitting here making snowflakes to hang... and then I'm finishing off my husband's christmas present lol I lead a dreadfully exciting life in the boondocks let me tell yah.
Oh yeah and here's my tree: I swear I'll get around to decorating it this weekend, get off my back already, sheesh.
American staffsire I found on the side of the road when he was only a couple weeks old no clipped ears or tall though
I cant wait to put my Hallmark TOS Shuttlecraft, Enterprise-D, Enterprise-E, Defiant, Voyager, Bird of Prey, D'deridex Warbird, Borg Cube, Reliant, Enterprise(2009), K't'inga class battlecruiser and the All Good Things future Enterprise-D on my Charlie Brown tree.
Just not one of those types of people. I have my Trek DVDs and some books, but haven't really collected models, etc since I was in my teens. The odd things I have bought tend to stay in cupboards.
I used to do that, but now I don't give a fuck anymore. It really throws people off when they come over to my place, I don't exactly look the part(see pics in the pic thread).
I had every intention of Christmasing it up this year--decorating, cards, the whole schmear. Oh, nothing extravagant. When I bought the place the garage was lit with Christmas lights. I was going to use those. And between the two holly trees in the backyard and the downed spruce branches in the nearby park after a recent windstorm, I could've done OK. Maybe a wreath or two on various doors. But I refuse to decorate before Advent. First weekend of December I had a birthday party and a 36 hour window of opportunity to get rid of the old pickup and borrow a pressure washer. Then last weekend I had class all weekend (with all the reading and, because it was a class with Marines, after class drinking that entailed). Now I'm realizing I need to be out of town on Christmas, so I'd need to buy a timer and it doesn't seem to make sense to decorate an empty house.
It is I'm trying to make Star Trek ones but they haven't turned out so far. I've being doing Advent gifts/activities with the kids too It has been a lot of 'christmas' this year.
Our presents are wrapped as we buy them, but can't put them under the tree. Our oldest cat will piss on the gifts.
I should have pictures today we shoved the crib under the piano and pulled out all the Christmas decorations and bought a tree yesterday, snowflakes and that are up, stockings are hung (all over the house apparently) and it passed the Christmas Nazi's inspection we were putting up decorations listening to Christmas stories (Alan Maitland) and went to town in our Santa hats (DS had to buy the Hubby a Canucks santa hat lmao. And a Santa outhouse - it farts...it sings...it threatens to use the nice list for TP...) My husband has forbidden me from making anymore presents...I've been going full tilt for the past two-three months and we also did a month of Halloween activities and two months of CHristmas activities (the kids wanted advent early so what the heck) - and he's a little sick of it. I even got all of the kid's footed PJ's (including the dropflap ones my stepDD asked for lol) for their campout Christmas Eve - DH works Christmas Day so we'll let all the kids campout in the living room watching Christmas movies and do our actual Christmas boxing day. Yes. I am actually this nauseatingly perky in real life. Now you know why my hubby has ruuuuuuulllllessss about decorations and activities. My stepDD has been here almost two weeks and say she feels like she's in holiday hell I am so stoked...the kids are stoked.....I even have a sexy Mrs Santa outfit :santa_cheesy:
